Previously I had blogged about a poster I found in Kochi in which Shivsena claims to save Kochi. The post got many comments including threats from many. From those comments I noticed that many in Kerala are misinformed about what Shivsena stands for. Check the comment below.

These guys think Shiv sena is the army of Lord Shiva which is a huge misconception. They are a very regional party and its named after the Matratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji. Their main ideology is that Maharashtra belongs to Maharashtrians and everyone else should be treated inferior, they are a party which should not even exist outside Maharashtra.

The entire website is not even in Hindi, its Marathi. The outline image thats shown in the center is Maharashtra, the statue is of king Chhatrapati Shivaji. Why should a Keralite join a movement for Maharashtrians ?

What some people dont know is that the Shiv Sena started off as an organization against “Madrasis”(as referred to all south indians) as they were called in Bombay by pakka goondaism, now being followed by MNS, arguing that they were taking the jobs away from the Marathis, and they are now trying to form a base here in the same Kerala
, and our misled youth are working for them…

Dear Kenny Jacob pls keep your mouth shut . Why dont you post something about Muslim League or christian congress parties . We all know they are communal. And we know their role in Marad and Kasargod riots . Stop insulting Hindus and Hindu organisations .

“Salvation Army” = Shanti Sena.
Neither of these is a real army !
