To those who I loved much

When did the last rain kiss our lips
    On a Sunday morning,
On our journey to the cemetery it happened
It was like the kiss of a newborn
    So innocent,
yet good enough to be happy.
    Rain is like a terrorist
It has no sense of time
    When I waited for her
    With the valentine’s card
It came all of a sudden
Rain reminds me my lost love
    The unfulfilled promises
    And the wounds of earth

When did (for the last time) we love each other
    Long before
Under the brown carpet of sky
    We touched each other
    Shared each other
    Earth was so silent
Like the face of a dead body
The path to theĀ  cemetery was lonely
    We painted our minds
On the yellow wall of time
    But time was always endless
    Only our lives will end

When did we smile each other
    I can’t remember
    Since my eyes are opaque
    And heart is blind
    Death has no memories!

When did the last rain kiss our lips…..?
When did we love each other (for the last time)……?
When did we smile each other…..?
    This dream never ends……
