After a long break I have made a plan to break into the silent beauty of Grand Road west. I was feeling spanking new that I almost forgot the Sunday walk habitual. I had no clue about this place and I couldn’t find many people out in the streets. So I made a plan to stride in the west direction so that I can hit upon the sea side or beach loveliness.

I went on through the gully roads where there were a lot of cars parked on the side ways. I found a small cycle workshop on this side. This cycle reminded me of a village shop, where you can find all cycle accessories hanging. I didn’t have to move much before I realized that I’m heading in a wrong road. I found an end to the road and then I shifted my route.

This region was a bit more developed posh area of Mumbai. You can find the residence of successful people in Mumbai here. That might be one of the reasons why almost all the designer outlets are available. Those shops were crowded as almost every shops were tagged with SALE!

As I headed more I could feel the cal breeze of the sea even though I couldn’t see any coastal signs. That’s the sea side area where you can find the tranquility of Mumbai city. No disturbing sounds and cleaniness every where. I was in search for a good restaurant checked out some but couldn’t find any of them special. I kept on walking through the parkside which I found on the beach side. I couldn’t enter the park as the entry was limited.

On the way I saw a big walled area which was totally protected by armed gun men. I guessed that would be the American consolate of Mumbai. I couldn’t take the photo as the photography there was totally banned. After that I could find many resident appartments of centeral government staffs. That includes the residence quarters of Atomic Research Center. And at last I found a really nice restaurant from where I had some really good Punjabi dishes. I left the restaurant and headed to Bombay centeral railway station.
