@Vineeth Jose Sometimes the person doesn’t want others to know for which party he had voted for. Confidentiality is an important part of voting. Even if he doesn’t mind, it is an offense. A few years back, Nayanar, our ex-CM showed his ballet paper to the media and his vote was made invalid.

But is it an offense when someone does this after the elections?

They hold their entire reader base ransom to their business/political agenda. Its time that we established media watch and have every piece of news scrutinized and issued court notices for misleading/wrong information.

This is really bad. Manorama should not be resorting to such cheap publicity tricks. I dont think they are running out of news. But the irresistible temptation to add some masala then creeps in. Guys, please dont do this. We have some respect for your News paper. Please dont let us down.
