Hmmmmm… I would say altogether a new experience to the Malayalam audience and this integrated way of film making I suppose is in fact fresh concept to the Malayalam movie industry. But I feel its more like a adapted concept because already in the Bollywood there was this movie ‘Dus Kahaniyaan’ released some years ago which was quite a flop. And in the Hollywood there’s this movie called ‘Crash’ that won the Oscar for the Best Picture in 2006, that tells about several stories connecting each other in someway or the other and that too by a single director.

As for ‘Kerala Cafe’ I really enjoyed the movie. As for the parts that I liked or touched me was – ‘Bridge’ directed by Anwar Rasheed, ‘Makal’ directed by Revathy & ‘Off Season’ directed by Shamaprasad as this was the only story that I felt healthy watching than the others that were filled with tragedy, sadness n confusion.

As for the actors and actresses everyone did their part well. Some of the best acting were of Salim Kumar and Kalpana in Bridge – wonderful acting by both, Jyothirmayee in Lalitham Hiranmayam – nice expressions, Siddique in Aviramam, Jagathi in Happy Journey, Suraj in Off season and the lady who played the role of a poor tamil mother in Makal – brilliant acting, really touched.

A wonderful experience. It was like reading short stories of Somerset Maugham. Each story different and directed by different directors yet there was a similar thread running across. To someone here who said the stories did not have an ending; just enjoy the moments presented, these are incidents which can happen in anyone’s life.

‘Bridge’,as others said, is simply superb and haunting. some of the stories do not end,but it doesn’t tamper with their beauty any way. its a must-watch,of course.

Awesome.. the work of Bridge by Anwar, can i get that portion only to see for another 100 times. The other shots are average I think.. Only the Laljose’s Puramkazhchakal is standing out from it… anyway good attempt by Renjith…

I could see the movie only yesterday. No words to express. Ranjith made me stunned by NANDANAM. Now with kerala cafe , he made me to cry especially Bridge and Aviramam.
The people who are not seeing this movie is missing the best effort in malayalam.

Great movie…just amazing !!!…So much of meaning in each movie..Bridge was the best though,loved it..so well directed..I say a must watch !

Great movie…without watching the movie…with out feeling the messages it gives…. don’t say like it not worth….
Anwar bridge gives great hangover… till that character is in my eyes
