Shashi Tharoor the present Minister Of State for Foreign Affairs in the Government Of India is a victim of international conspiracy and false propagation of news by the media and his political opponents. US and China are coming together for the same cause of Bringing down their Common Enemy Shashi Tharoor. The logic is ‘Enemy of my enemy is my friend’. Shashi Tharoor during the UN Under Secretary post, has won huge support, influence and contacts through out the world. So such a person of high influence, vision and caliber is always an asset to any Government especially in in Ministry Of Foreign Affairs. US and China is afraid of a simple thing that is the things Tharoor can do in THE CONTINENT OF AFRICA. India and China are trying to find market and also influence the countries in African Continent while US is trying to defend their markets and influence in AFRICA. So US and China are aware of the fact that Tharoor can b the difference between them and India in the new world of Neo Colonialism. So getting Tharoor out of the scene and out of Indian ministry is a secret but Diplomatic Theory of China and US and its a part of this the new Conspiracy against Tharoor and to help them some Indian politicians and Media.

Ah! Kenneycha! how short sighted… You too sound like the politicians of Kerala blaming China or America at the drop of a hat. Yes America and China has vested interests in Africa.
The basis of neo-colonialism or neo-imperialism is based on energy. We see that in Iraq and elsewhere. China has the upper hand in Asia when it comes to energy through the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. India has only an Observer Status where as the oil and gas rich states of Central Asia like Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are members .One can only imagine the clout wielded by China in this grouping.
Russia is safe Kenneycha very safe they have untapped Siberia waiting to be plundered of energy, gas rich Iran is their friend and they are even helping Iran to built Nuclear Stations in spite of American opposition. Gazprom of Russia controls oil and gas flow to Europe and holds the key to the distribution pipe line(remember the standoff a few months ago and how Germany and the rest of Europe begged for Russian mercy) and it remains to be seen how long is NATO viable.

America and China comes 1st and 2nd in terms of bilateral trade and India is no where in the picture. China and the US are the greatest donors to Africa and we cannot match them in any terms except that many African Countries have Indian Communities.
America too has enough energy reserves ,Alaska is a huge petrol pump used which is used sparingly. West Asia except for Iran are faithful to US. They are already into Arctic and Antartica for oil and they top deep sea drilling qand they are alraeady aiming moon for helium 3 and so is China and Russia.
So Kenneycha US and China wanting to take Sharoor out of the Indian equation viz-a-viz Africa isn’t that palpable and remember China backed Tharoor when it came to choosing the UN Secretary General.Uncle Sam might be on the wane but remember the Dragon is breathing Hot, very Hot ,Africa or Asia its damn hot.

@Jayakrishnan I agree that India joined the race to dominate Africa and we are nowhere in the scene to dominate Africa its just because the short vision of Indians govt and bureaucracy. but we cant be ruled out. in last few years we have done a number of deals with African nations. India is not after oil but to find markets in Africa. the fact that Indian MNCs like BHARTI, TATA steel and motors, Mahendra etc are dominant players in Africa now. Coming to defense Indian peace keeping force have more presence in Africa than the Chineese. more over India’s recent to dominate the Indian Ocean ring and the African coasts by senting Naval ships for patrol,rescue and anti pirate missions have already alerted China. This is why i say dnt rule out India in that race. Tharoor has good contacts and influence in African nations and this can help India to get on track to dominate Africa.
Then coming to UN. China didnt support Tharror. They abstained from voting and US polled a -ve vote to Tharoor.

What the Tatas and the Mahindra’s are doing in Africa only amounts to a fraction of what the Chinese and the US are doing in Africa. We have peace keeping forces but they aren’t under the Indian tricolor but under UN flag.
Then to the pointer that China abstained from voting abstaining from voting by a member of the security council is as good as voting for..
Then to the pointer that India is not running around for oil, sorry krishanraj that is the aim, markets will come and go but not oil we need it and we need it badly we are late no amount of diplomacy will take us anywhere close to what the Chinese have done in Africa . All these patrol pirate affair are all under UN flags everyone has stake in it…
