“Still cries the soul” tells the story of a girl torn between the love for a man now passed away and another trying to revive her from her loss.  According to the words of Riju Sam who directed it ” Still cries the Soul is a follow up to a short film that I did during my film school”.

Lisa (Sasha Olson) is heart wrenched  when her picture perfect life is all trashed at the sudden and tragic loss of her fiance Jonathan (Danny Joldzic) in an accident.Jonathan was a gift to Fr. Ignatius (Pat Pattison). Being brought up by the Father his loss was too hard to sink in. the tragic loss of Jonathan leaves Lisa all heart broken, without wanting to live, finding it hard to cope up with life.

Into her life enters William (Simon Star) who revives and tries to bring her back to life offering unconditional love and support to Lisa. Lisa finds her heart in turmoil as she now has to decide between  betraying Jonathan and allowing her heart to love again. This forms the crux of the story. The movie runs for a duration of 120 minutes.
