Neelathaamara is a Malayalam movie which brings together legendary scriptwriter M.T. Vasudevan Nair and hit maker Lal Jose. Neelathaamara is produced by Suresh Kumar under the banner of Revathy Kalamandir which produced successful films like ‘Vettam’, ‘Pachamarathanalil’ etc. Music director Vidyasagar will provide tunes to the lines of Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma.

The movie is a remake of the eighties hit of the same name starring Ambika in the lead. M.T. Vasudevan Nair will rewrite the script to suit the present generation audience. The cast will comprise mostly of fresh faces. Shooting is slated to start by the third week of May. The cast and crew are on the verge of finalization. More details are awaited.
