Muslim extremists are not the only terrorists in India. The people who demolished Babari Masjid are also terrorists. The number one domestic terrorist is now planning to become the prime minister. And he has realized the power of the Internet. The following is a screen shot of my own blog page. Most probably you will be seeing his ads in my page also right now.
He has restarted the Temple issue again. He had his chance to build it, but didn’t even dare. Is he seeing it as the goose who lays golden eggs ? Building the temple would be like killing the goose. Does he think the people of India are Idiots ?
Is he also a terrorist ? Whats your opinion ?

A person who supported Muhammed Ali Jinnah once. Which became a lot controversial(contradictory to his role) issue that time.
Politics, thats it. And an Old politician in a new dress.

It is interesting to see internet ads used by politicians.
Out here, Obama has just won the election based on a very strong internet presence. He even advertised on video games. (As in billboards on the sides of the road in car racing games etc)
How could the use of internet change politics in India?

In that case every (more than 95%) of the ministers are terrorists, lets classify in to Low-level, Medium-level, High-level, national-level and International-level.
Its not that Indians are idiots, its that Indians (who are in the middle class and high class) are busy learning the international culture and differences between old life and new modern lives.
Indians always have that tendency to grow towards light(any light), not to make a light.
And they are smart in marking people according to the medias. Does not mean people are smart either.
Any way, quran says that, towards the end of world, criminals and third rate politicians(another word actually) will be seated in the high posts to rule and to control things. Well, to protest is our right, but internet is only a media where sound is not used, no action is taken, just some comments, even though a group, deletion of any records will lead to a mark of nothing.
So who is idiot here? The whole world is becoming idiots.

But I have to say this, He is the only Indian politician with a Decent website !
Personally I don’t think that If ‘BJP’ forms a govt. in India, India will not make much development, than making some big flows and downs.

haven’t these dumb old men of India hav any job other than politics. they shud make way 4 younger and more nimble people.
all these oldies do is warm the chair, fill their pocket and sindle their supporters..
Comment by Varun Anand — February 11, 2009 @ 11:36 pm
I don’t think these oldies cant be in politics, other wise there should be another Obama in India. I don’t think so, at present there is no youngsters who can be the next PM of India.
But i hate these BJP and RSS (i dont know anyone hurts or not) because at my point of view they are the real terrorist. They are in politics for more than 25 years, Why don’t they people dont know that “Politics is Not Religion and Religion is Not Politics”. For what they are mixing up these things together ?
Consider as Indian not as Hindu, Muslim or Christian. In my younger days i studied that India is a secular nation, is this the secular nation ?
If any one who will be the next PM reads this blog try to understand that
“The guys with guns are not the real terrorist, the real terrorist is the one with ‘Poison syringe’ and it contain the poison called Religion” .
Please wake up guys……
Thanks Kenney for this post….

They are heavily advertising on websites for Indian audiences.i see the ad in this page……..
Heard that they are targeting the youths…………
the ad takes you to Mr. Advani’s homepage …………an in it a link is there to his blog……..i guess he is the only politician with a blog…..and it is not a usual party website…….it is a professionally designed one……..better than bjp’s official site……congress is having a good site……..but they need to start one for rahul gandhi (a blog or something like that)……..
in 2004 loksabha election i got many sms from the congress candidate requesting vote (sent by some sms server with the sender displayed as RAMESH CHENNITHALA) but i didn’t vote him and cpm candidate who didnot spend a single rupee on sms advertising won that seat……………
it is time our politicians use internet also as a medium to reach out to the educated massess….,,,,,,,,,,,,,heard that cpm also made a blog supporting pinarayi in the snclavalin .issue………………..
……It is election time and temple issue is brought back again………….last time they didn’t had any majority in the house and any attempt to keep up the promise would have brought the government down…….this time tooo they won’t try it either unless they get good majority on its own which is not likely to happen anyway…………………

@“Politics is Not Religion and Religion is Not Politics”……
It was like that from the begning of the world.
Politics was religion and religion was politics..
examples:History of Roman catholic church.
If something try to replace the religion that thing itself will become a religion.
so i dont think that we can ever get rid of religion from politics.
@kenney
You dont like Advani,Understandable..
Some party is using ideolody to divide people some others use religion,in the end they are dividing people. But those people
who divide using ideology( like cpm) is easily
escaping as “secularists”.Because media is with them.Given a chance they will all suck blood.

Maneesh,
Interesting insights. What you say is true, using the internet/sms advertising for the sake of using it won’t be any good.
It should be modelled along the lines of web 2.0 and social networking.
Barack Obama won the election here with a solid web operation. Actually the web was not used for just advertisement. They had this state of the art social network and website (one of the founders of facebook worked for them). The whole point was to convey the message, get the public feedback, enabling forums for people to discuss about policy, and encouraging like minded people to take part by holding house parties and all that.
Also, it provided state of the art tools for ordinary people (read non party members) who believed in a candidate to help out the cause by making phone calls, volunteering etc.
And to do that, you are right, Advani cannot get this going. As you have mentioned, there are young leaders in all parties, Rahul Gandhi for Congress and the other young leaders of all parties should do a case study of Obama campaign and see how they can incorporate elements of that in their own campaign etc.
The internet is a vast resource, I guess whoever exploits it the best will be rewarded.

if you check the age of world leaders like obama, nicholas sarkosy, david miliband etc…we find in india we have only the oldies………..Generally the oldies have experience but they are the most obsessed ones with power……..the taste of power is addictive……once you get to taste it to do luxury on tax payers money, one can’t leave without it……..Heard that karunakaran is trying for a rajya sabha seat……………….
…..in our politics and parties to grow to a position to walkin for an office you have to grow a lot….other wise you would have to be in a dynasty party like COngress, DMK, National Conference etc……………………….Good minded person are there in all the parties ……………but they are not getting any chance………As a society we have degraded to the bottom and the leaders we have are the ones we deserve…………
…………………..
@kenney
by the way i do not have the idea that advani is a terrorist….among the lalu prasads, shibu sorens, karunanidhi, mayavati, pawar, pinarayi i think he is less poisonous………………….In kerala another hated leader is narendra modi while Saddham Hussein is a hero here…but i doubt advani will create serious problems(like war to pakistan or similiar things) if he becomes the pm with good majority………..He already told that he will go on with nuclear tests and arms research…….

Advani is on a promotional spree in the Internet world. You can see his ads everywhere in the cyber space where they use Google ads (BTW, I have blocked the lkadvani.in URL). Not sure if it is because he is scare of Modi running over him for the PM candidature in the next election that he is pumping up himself as PM.

hmm… an indian christian website labeling the BJP as terrorist org? don’t you think your stereotyping the christian community? the only reason the BJP doesn’t win is because of the numerous mini political parties that exist in this country. coalitions is what keeps the BJP at bay. now imagine if india has a two party system like in the US. the BJP(hindu centric) and the Congress(minority centric). who do you think would win in this scenario?
things may change to a 2 party system in the future so i might recommend you take sides. the christians can either choose to be clubbed with the hindu’s or the muslims.
Comment by lurker — August 24, 2009 @ 2:15 pm
First of all this is not an Indian Christian website. This is my blog and there are many bloggers here from different religions.
Secondly.. India is not a country with Just Hindus and Muslims and as a Citizen of India I dont think I have to take any sides.
