Deepika – Hot Kiss and a Night With Your Girl

Hi, I am Kenney Jacob, love blogging about Education, Media hypocrisy and Social Issues.

Read this report published in Deepika. Click for an enlarged version.

    bike

The report says that a gang of youngsters were arrested for bike racing at Kowdiar road (the only road in town where there are not many strikes).

The marked portion in the report is the most interesting which says that the price for winning the race is a hot kiss from his own girl friend and an opportunity to spend a night with her. Who is this dumb ass reporter ? Why would anyone want to race and win his own girl friend. From where did he get this information ? Did he also participate in the racing, kissing and sleeping competition ?

Anyways this report is not damaging at all because nobody reads it. These are the last minute attempts of a dying newspaper to stay in business.

    4. Thats what the news is all about. This part makes it credible as a movie. They want people to think about it.

    6. Very funny..!
May be the reporter just meant that “The winner of the race is greeted with a hot kiss from his girl friend”

Anyway, the issue here is not about the WINNING PRIZE. Its about the nuisance these racers brings to the public.

      @Nikhil
One should do something only if it adds money to India’s GDP? I hope you were just making a funny statement.

…still, there are many other things that DYFI (and other youth wings) should do (even bloggers)..

For curiosity, I was checking DYFI website and their message center (Forum). Its not functional yet, but there is a test forum with full of junk posts. Even there is a post named “Come to Sex room to chat with sexy girls” along with many others. Have a look at http://www.dyfi.in/forum/viewforum.php?f=1&sid=979b7b0ff22c002b351e036d441ed68a

By the way, i dont know whether its the official DYFI site

    7. @BJ
rash driving is not just confined to the kowdiar roads.

Im against the reporting style adopted. A report should not be a reporters fantasies.

    8. Poor Reporter and the News Paper! This news shows the exact Condition and the level of the News Paper now. This is the correct example of this news paper, that how its suffering to get the news and the readers.
I am really sad to see this poor condition of Deepika, whch was a very good & reputed News Paper before some Years.
