Free Software Movement Being Hijacked

Does the communist party and its feeder organizations own the Free Software Movement in India ?. I am forced to think, after the happening at the National Conference on Free Software at CUSAT.

How capable is Sita Ram Yechury to comment on Free Software Movement ? Lets assume he is capable, but how about the event volunteers cheering for him at the event venue….shouting their communist slogans…. they made it look like a party meeting.

During the official function, the people on the dais were addressing each other as “comrades”. Perfect !!!!

The entire campus was filled with posters featuring Fidel Castro and Cuba. So much for a free country !!!!

The event organization was pathetic. More on that in later posts.

Its really pathetic… Freedom or Free software is not belongs to any party. they are making all the shows to make people think like that.

its like the same kind of ‘ILLUSION’ that Indira Gandhi or priyanka gandhi belongs to Mahathma ganndhi’s family. i am sure 90% people are thinking like that and vote for the congress for the same reason.

So this would be a very planned agenda. God! save your own country…

What I felt is Sitaram Yechuri made some valid points on negative side of Capitalism. But he didn’t expressed their real stand on Free Software Movement even though their main topic of discussion was Economic Crisis. He always trying to blame capitalist countries and IT companies came to India, but he forget to mention regarding the benefits we got from the IT companies. And on the dais both the MPs were trying to praise each other as real communists.

Also I wish to say that the event organization by CUSAT was very very poor.
