Google Services are not accessible on my Windows laptop from yesterday onwards. Search is not working. Cant loging to gmail, orkut or any other google services. The page is stuck midway trying to load. I tried a lot of stuff like virus scans, DNS flushing etc. Still no change. The problem perisists on 3 browsesrs that I have in my machine… opera, IE and firefox.

Uninstall all your google related tools/softwares.
Clear your registry(RegCleaner is good) with keyword google or related :-S.
Perhaps a registry clean will help. Uninstall your antivirus. Clear registry and temp files.
Repair your XP. Reinstall you modem. Make a further registry clean. Ohh if you are using a Torrent software unistall and clear registry and temp folders (CCleaner is good).
If you trust all other softwares, you can start reinstalling all what you have demolished.
Coz, recently i had similar problem with my IE and not in Mozilla. I did these steps for trial. I did not get a clear result until I reinstalled modem.

Clear the cache it must be due to the cookie. Plus did u try accessing google using different net connection [in the same lap ], just to check if it’s because of the pc itself .

google banned u??? Haha….
If the problem is there in all your browsers, then its not some issue with ur browser. Could be ur networking part.
What type of net connection do u have? firewall? how are the ping reply to google sites? any timeouts? is ur problem only with google sites?

Use Linux ..

firewall blocking access?
Virus Infection? user ProcessXP http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx
Go to registry and search(F3 for next result) for “google” and delete all instances. Maybe some script has blocked the domain.
Can you access google via its IP?
Try Opera too.

Try OpenDNS
Then pop in a Linux Live CD and try with that.
If that don’t work, change ISP.

open
root:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts using notepad
check if the google ip is added there. by default only localhost should appear there. if it still doesn’t solve the issue. go to opendns.org and use the dns they provide instead of the default one that you have. that should solve the issue.

@Niranjan
I am able to access all the services from other machines connected in the same network
@Linoy

Use a third party proxy and try (a bit risky) but lets see what it will say.

I am able to ping every site. There is no problem with the DNS resolution also. The problem is that I can do a search in google. The first page is ok, but the search listing page is not loading.
Gmail sign in page loads, but loading gets stuck when sign in proceeds.

A similar stuff happened to me very recently…
I could not login to my websites that share the same IP.
I tried many ways and finally found that it is the problem with Vodafone servers and not my PC.
I could no convince them to flush their DNS.
I switched to airtel connection and everything works fine in the same machine.

what is ur connection?
if it is BSNL then it often happens in many cases(as read in one It magazine)
if it is BSNL then it is said it is b’cos one software bug in type2 router equipment
solution is to change router equipment
better way to detect is to connct ur laptop by external modem to bsnl dial up connection!
if ur getting google services then it may be the problem of ur router
if i gav u a right solution inform me

Finally solved the problem. It was a Trojan.
google pack failed
Avast failed
Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware finally removed the trojan.
