Bribe …..What else can you call this
For this decision to be made, the students had to call a press meet and go on a strike. This is not something new with CUSAT, does it all the time. There is not a single examination with mistakes in question paper, or valuation. This has been happening from the day CUSAT was formed.
The students need not pay fees for revaluation. What a great way to escape from the situation. Poor students will shut up now. But where is the permanent solution. Why cant the the CUSAT staff prepare 10 questions with out mistake. Why are valuation mistakes happening on a large scale ?
Why is CUSAT not conducting an inquiry and take action against those staff who is responsible for this mistake. Atleast can issue a warning. Instead they offer a bribe to the students. What a great way to run a future IIT.
It is otherwise called: “throws dust in students eyes”

This is not the problem with CUSAT alone….. I felt the same with Kerala University too… (darn! I won’t go back there again…)

The proposal to make CUSAT an IIT will effectively bring bad name for IIT rather than bring good name for CUSAT.
Even if after declared IIT,if the same staff and way of administration is in place,there is no hope for students.
This reevaluation is just a way to make money the easy way…….
Why they run a dummy university that cannot run an examination correctly….
i know a deemed university in kerala that publishes results of university exam after 7 days.After a couple of weeks the failed students get another chance and within a month the student gets his degree.If he was in CUSAT he would have to wait for an year…They have introduced special supplementary exams when they new that there is an avenue for revenue…….The main problem is that CUSAT is not a university meant for students.
If we use technology effectively i think conducting examination fairly and publishing results without delays are not an issue.Some people in or related with CUSAT wants to maintain it in the current state.That’s why we don’t see any ,modernisation there

hi all,iam 4th yr student frm ship tech…..iam frm hyd,n lemme tell u…ive nt seen such idiotic way running a univ ever in ap..em nt saying tht ap is something gr8 than kerala..bt CUSAT in particular is badly mis-managed…results dont come in time,u can never knw iv ull pass..no matter how well u do,no encourage ments 4 sports persons..i donno,y at all they have sports quota,no advance supplymentary till very recently..thanks to SOE students timely strike(i want to knw whether d spl supply..is effective)…n i wonder,v dont have a proper univ team 4 any sports event…can any student confidently speak of a team..either in arts or sports to compete wid outside univ’s..answer is flat no…y blame students…its all mis-management right frm VC to a dept SO….

This sucks! An undeserved supply like this in the final year would mean you will have to forfeit you job offer!
I hope the new VC, Gangan Pratap turns things around. I think its only because of him that they admitted their mistake in the first place. Ive met him, and heard him speak, man of business, has no illusions and has clear ambitions for the university.
For our dept magazine, he replied with a message the very day in the evening we met him via email, cool guy id say. lets see how long he lasts.

just ans about ur inqry….In every year form of CUSAT had published in mid of Feb & exams conducted in 1st or 2nd week of may.CUSAT will not provide online application facility for the students from the State for its Common Admission Test (CAT) from this year. But online application submission facility will be provided for students from other States.
one thing more for both guys don’t try to come here yaar plzzzzzzzzz…its just like helll….all bullshit
