The following is a mail instruction sent to one of my very close friends, who is doing his final year MCA, by one of his lecturers (mind you this is one of the premier institution for education in Chennai, India, and from the information I received this lecturer has almost 13 years experience in education field. And this is a co-ed institution also):
Hi all third year StudentsYour first review schedule on 18/02/08 Morning (8.45 to 4.00 pm)you have to submit
1. Title,name,Regno, Domain ,Guidename with you abstract (1 page your
deatils Title,name,Regno, Domain ,Guidename, 2 page abstract a4
size paper)
2.If your change the title or company not change all student must be
submit your above details.
3. Analysis report
- Problem
- Requirement Specification
- Existing System
- Proposed System
- Objective
- Module Details
- Reference book details
-Data flow diagram (System diagram,2 level DFD)
4. Soft and Hard copy
5. All report should be a4 size paper with all content should be CD also
6.Formal dress code (male light shirt(full) and drak pant with shoe )
7. Attendance compulsory
8. With fail all of report on 18/2/08
Well, after reading this mail, I told my dear friend that my decision to take up a job instead of going and doing my post graduation was indeed very right.
