Google Groups Email Goes to Gmail Spam

Can you believe that ? If not believe it. I invited a friend of mine to join a group and the invitation went to his spam folder.

Now it looks like their spam finding algorithm is very neutral and is not giving any special consideration to the mails from servers itself.

Google has one of the best spam fighting technology. But some times google also makes mistakes. There are still many spam mails in my inbox, most of them are the popular multi million dollar African fraud mails. There are some lottery mails also.  is still unable to detect them.

The Chines are coming…

Posted By :- Jyothi M John

I am into management of Computer business. The electronics market is the most volatile market after the currency market. The way thing’s are going now - I can see the electronics business going out of the hand’s of wholesalers and retailers in the next ten years. We are in a era where the Internet is the new world. As more and more people get access to internet, more and more services will be moved out of the retail shelves and into web pages.

Since we are into the wholesale side of business - I can already feel the pinch of the Chines taking over some of our market. The concept of Factory - Distributor (Wholesaler) - Retailer - End User is dying. The axe has already fallen on the distributor. This has happen because of the consolidation in the retail market and the growth of retail chains like Wall-mart. Due to their volumes they now dictate what brands and what prices will go on their shelves. But this is short lived as in the next 10 years I can see the full potential of the Internet being unleashed.

The Factories will soon have websites, from which the End User can directly buy. With more and more thing’s becoming Disposable - there will be no question of Service and Support (We are already living in an era where it is considered to be more economical to use a spoon once and then thrown away - only to be picked up by recyclers and smelted back into a spoon than to wash it and re use it). You just have to log into their website and pick up the items you want and pay using one of the internet payment services (Paypal…) or even your credit card. Depending on what and where you are ordering People like DHL and other Courier Service will deliver it to you within four hours or within a week.

The first one’s to be hit will be the electronic industry, but soon you will see all the all the other industries following suit. So if you are investing into the future it will be a better Idea to invest into one of these factories or into very high end solution providers - The likes of IBM or Mobme (Kenney that is for you :) )

I would appreciate if you guy’s could leave your comment’s just below. All kinds of comments are welcome…

IPhone Hacks - A Marketing Stunt ???

I am a conspiracy theorist and I love Micheal Moore documentaries. Now I doubt the real intention behind apple for releasing in a very secure mode and then making a lot of buzz about it.

Ever since was released Ive been hearing about hacks and the hacks are really cool. Today I saw some more cool hacks demoed by Sidharth at the . Nintendo emulators, gravity games, installation managers etc.

From among all the demos here at Sidharth’s demo was the coolest and the audience just loved it. This publicity is the root cause of my doubt. Is this a planned publicity stunt from Apple ?

My friend Tony who is a core techie bought an cos he was interested in the hacking part of it. He got his phone shipped from the US through a friend and he has been trying various hacks on it. Also he is talking about it to everyone.

Hacked applications are more popular than normal apps. Now this definitely looks like a planned publicity stunt ?

Comment, if you agree to me.

WidgetBucks Sucks

WidgetBucks logo

Its true friends. really sucks. Ive been using their widget on my blog for over a month now and still my account dash board says 0 clicks and 0 revenue. I know they are cheating. I asked a few of my friends to click confirm it. My dashboard still says 0 clicks when the actual number should have been 4 or 5.

I contacted their support 2 weeks back and the buggers havent replied either. Please comment with your experiences using widget bucks.

Also please suggest some ad networks that I can use to monetize my site.
