This is your portable GPS receiver. You can use it with your laptop, PDA and even your mobile phone. Its compatible with most of the tracking softwares. The best part is that this device is wireless. It uses bluetooth technology.
The battery charge remains for 10Hrs and the receiver can process signals from upto 20 GPS satellites.
Their website claims that this works with google Maps. I need to get one of these test it with google maps on mobile, which I use quite often to navigate Cochin.

Karnataka government has got plans to ban mobile phone for age group under below 16. The explanation they are giving is that mobile phone usage can cause damage to a growing brain.
To me it looks like the stupid, orthodox government is trying to get some cheap publicity. The future citizens must become mature to be responsibly using a mobile phone. A ban will do no help.

Every web application has got 2 parts. The frontend and the backend, or the design and the coding. Frontend is the artists job and the backend is the techies job. But these two parts are very much interconnected sometimes that it gets very difficult to see them as separate stuff. Most of the time the developer ends up doing the design also.
This is one great mistake to be avoided. Design and coding should be treated as two separate jobs and two different people should do it. Never let your developer do the design also. Its a total waste of time.
Design is something that changes quite often. If the developer does design also a lot of this productive time will be wasted on making the smallest of changes.
Also the developer must be able to develop the application with out even worrying about the interface. If proper template creation methods are used, the complete web application can be made with out the design.
The designer can later design the pages and the programmer can plug it in. In this approach, even if the design changes often, its easy for the developer to accommodate the changes.

Nivedyam tells the love story of two teenagers in the atmosphere of a temple. Mohana Krishnan(Vinu Mohan) comes for studying music to a famous illam, and gets apointed as “keezh shanthi” in the family temple of the illam. There are many girls studying dance and the arrival of a young guy creates a lot of funny moments among them.
Lohithadas has succeeded in creating a vibrant atmosphere for the movie in the first half, and it turns head over heals in the second half. The story turns into the same way of Kasthuriman and everything happens as expected. The heroine’s family, steriotypic villain, unavoidable similar climax, all reminds us nothing but only Kasthuriman.
New actress Bhama gives an above average performance, but her character has all the shades of Shivani in Soothradharan. Vinu mohan is energetic but Lohi couldn’t correct his overacting situations. It was refreshing to see the new comers’ on screen chemistry, and romantic scenes in the temple are good. Songs are also good. Heroine’s attachment to Lord Krishna could have been avoided, since Hero’s character also follows solo dialogs with Krishna.
Can give 5/10.
