I heard about barcamps from a friend of mine. Actually I saw it in one of his blog posts. I digged from some information about and read the BarCamp wiki. Its a really wonderful concept. I like the idea of an informal meeting to discuss technical stuff. I myself am a bit nervous when it comes to standing before of a group of people and talk.
I want to organise a BarCamp in Trivandrum. The LUG and MUG in Trivandrum is very active. Also with the Technopark around, we wont have a problem getting techies. The IIITMK will be very much interested promoting something like this.
If anyone from Trivandrum is reading this please post your comments. Lets Organise the first BarCamp in Trivandrum.

Hearing the word barcamp, every friends thought that the event is in bar or the event is with full of liquor. Thats not truth… We will never entertain such activities… BARCAMP is all about gathering of people who are interested in technology…
So please consider the real fact
